Day 11: Denver.. the first Casualty of War

Josh (Adam Franklin bassist) decided after the Seattle gig to jump the fence at a graveyard so he could see Bruce and Brandon Lee's graves.. the curse of Bruce Lee lives, as Josh fell climbing the gate and twisted his ankle. When we arrived in Denver two days later, Josh went to the doctor just to get a checkup thinking it was a bad spain or dislocation, only to find out he broke his ankle in two places and required immediate surgery.

He played the gig that night at the Gothic Theatre and had to jump on a plane to go home the next morning.. Adam Franklin's band is now bass player-less.. but working on alternatives for Chicago..

here is Josh at the graveside paying homage to Bruce and Brandon Lee..
